Solapac was established in May 2007 by Kevin & Anita Horan after 2 years of extensive research into the Solar Water Heating industry. This included a trip to an Expo in Germany where contact was made with Calpak and a visit to the Ouraset factory in Adana Turkey. After seeing the quality of the systems being manufactured to the European standard compared to what was on offer here in NZ at the time Kevin & Anita decided to deal in only European Systems accredited with the Solar Keymark.

The next step was having the products tested and the company accredited to the AS/NZ2712 standard.

Solar is still very much in its infancy here in NZ and it is an exciting business to be involved in. A good quality Solar system will add value to a home or building and save the customer thousands of dollars in reduced Energy Bills over its life time. Whether it be for a new home, existing home, Motel, laundry, Gym or swimming pool, Solapac can offer its clients a System that best suits their needs and budget.

Solapac is the New Zealand distributor of a wide range of solar water heating product’s, sourced from reputable European companies with a long history of manufacturing quality Solar System’s and an excellent reputation throughout Europe Like Calpak, Ouraset, Texsun & Resol. All of Solapac’s Glazed collectors are accredited to the European Solar Keymark and the AS/NZ2712 Standard.
